DeAnna Dear is a seasoned Geographic Information Systems Analyst currently employed by the City of Lawton since July 2023. Prior to this role, DeAnna served as a Geographic Information System Specialist at American Water from October 2018 to August 2023, and as a Transportation Assistant at the LRC - Fort Sill from March 2016 to October 2018, where responsibilities included arranging transportation for military personnel and civilians. DeAnna's background also includes work as an Archeological Information Systems Specialist at R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc., managing archeological data and technical writing, as well as experience as a Sales Manager at Big Air Pylons Inc. and a Book Department Manager at Hastings Entertainment. DeAnna began a career in the field with the Oklahoma Archeological Survey, processing and cataloging artifacts. DeAnna holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Anthropology from the University of Oklahoma, obtained in 2006.
