Council Liaison To The Active Adults Advisory Committee at City of Leander

Christine De L'isle serves as the Mayor of Leander since May 2018, and holds multiple leadership roles including President of the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone and Development Authority, and Council Liaison to various committees. As a member of the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization since July 2021 and the Capital Area Council of Governments since September 2018, Christine contributes to transportation and economic development initiatives. Additionally, Christine serves as Director and Vice President for the Texas Municipal League's Region 10, and utilizes expertise in digital marketing through Exceptional Media LLC, focusing on social media strategy and online engagement. Prior experience includes roles at National Civic League, Library Systems & Services, LLC, and A Place For Everything, showcasing a diverse background in civic engagement, youth services, and professional organization.

Leander lies on the northeast edge of the Texas Hill Country, roughly ten miles due west of Interstate 35 on US Hwy 183, just north of Austin, TX.
