Mitch Braget

Mitch Braget, GISP, is a seasoned GIS professional currently serving as the GIS Coordinator for the City of Leavenworth, Kansas since May 2020, having previously held the title of GIS Technician. Responsibilities include the creation and maintenance of addresses for the NG911 database, updating the city GIS website, and coordinating with various city departments to tailor GIS solutions. Prior experience includes working as a GIS Technician at the International Water Institute, supporting hydro conditioning projects, and managing interns, as well as serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Kansas State University where physical geography was taught. Additional roles as a GIS Analyst at the University of North Dakota involved diverse projects such as digitizing wetlands and constructing 3D crash scene reconstructions. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Geography from Kansas State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Geography from the University of North Dakota.
