Darren Mitchell, CPA, is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial analysis. Currently serving as a Financial Analyst for the City of Leduc since November 2021, Darren previously held the position of Senior Accountant/Team Lead at Vulcraft Inc., where responsibilities included leading a team in the completion of financial statements and budget forecasting. Prior to that role, Darren worked as an Intermediate Accountant at Stuart Olson Inc., progressing from an Accounts Receivable clerk due to strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Additionally, Darren served as a Cost Analyst at Maple Leaf Foods Inc., focusing on cost and variance analysis.
