Melinda Smith has an extensive background in taxation and financial services, currently serving as Lead Taxation Services and formerly as a Tax Specialist at the City of Leduc since August 2016. Prior to this role, Melinda held positions at CIBC as a Lending Specialist and at Servus Credit Union, where responsibilities included Financial Advisor and Mortgage Specialist roles from June 2012 to August 2016, as well as serving as a Special Loans Officer from January 2009 to December 2011. Melinda began their career at United Farmers of Alberta as an Account Representative from April 2000 to November 2007. Melinda is an alumna of the University of Calgary.
