Emma Fristoe

Emma Fristoe is an experienced broadcast professional currently serving as Newscast Director at WDAF-TV FOX4 since October 2021. In addition to this role, Emma has been a Freelance Broadcast Professional at the University of Missouri-Columbia since January 2015, specializing in various aspects of linear and non-linear broadcasts for networks such as SEC Network and ESPN. Previous positions include Audio Visual Technician for the City of Lee's Summit, Home Buying Concierge at Veterans United Home Loans, and Projectionist at Ragtag Cinema. Emma also gained valuable experience as an Edit Operations Intern at ESPN, where tasks included operating editing software to produce broadcast packages. Emma holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Filmmaking from Stephens College and has a comprehensive educational background, including studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia and a high school diploma from Lee's Summit North High School.
