Michael Boles

Michael Boles serves as the IT Operations Manager for the City of Lee's Summit since November 2014, overseeing the city's computer network and technology infrastructure while managing related staff. Responsibilities include optimizing servers, ensuring data quality and availability, and designing disaster recovery processes. Prior to this role, Michael Boles worked as a Senior IT Support Specialist at HDR from October 2008 to November 2014, providing support for various production systems and serving as a technology expert. Michael Boles also held the position of Manager of Information Services at E.T. Archer Corporation and Empire Candle from October 2004 to September 2008 and November 2000 to October 2004, respectively, where responsibilities included managing all aspects of information technology service needs. Michael Boles earned a B.G.S in Environmental Studies and Communication Studies from The University of Kansas between 1984 and 1989.
