Michael Friedrich has over 19 years of experience in public works and engineering roles, primarily with the City of Lee's Summit since August 2006, where positions have included Public Works Operations Manager, Lead Engineering Technician, Senior Engineering Technician, and Engineering Technician. Prior experience includes serving as Engineering Technician II with the City of Independence from October 2004 to August 2006. Michael holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Soil Science and Agronomy from Missouri State University, completed between 2002 and 2004, as well as an Associate of Arts degree in General Arts from Metropolitan Community College-Blue River, earned from 2000 to 2002.
