Greg Chapdelaine

Greg Chapdelaine is a Purchasing Agent for the City of Leominster, Massachusetts. Greg is responsible for the purchase of all goods/services/construction projects valued at $10,000 or more for all City & School Department operations; overseeing in excess of $21 million in annual buys. Greg'sresponsibilities include: Bid specifications research & writing, product/equipment/supplies sourcing, vendor cultivation & relationship management, handling of all public bidding procedures, compliance with State Purchasing laws, contract award & management, contract dispute negotiation/resolution, small to mid-size project management (incl: architectural/engineering projects, building repair/construction projects). Greg also co-manages the City's property/liability/workers compensation portfolio/operations including oversight of the City's Safety/Insurance Committee. Greg confers with City's Risk Management Advisor and City legal counsel on property & liability issues, related court cases, problem resolution. Additionally, they are a Building Committee member on five separate, large-scale building construction projects over the last 20 years.

Greg Chapdelaine has also worked for Cado Products, Inc., as a Production/Marketing/Warehouse employee for 42 years and 10 months. Cado Products, Inc. is a family owned/operated custom Injection & Blow Molder, as well as proprietary products manufacturer. Chapdelaine has also worked as an Assistant City Comptroller for the City of Leominster for 6 years and 2 months, and as a Staff Accountant for Chemdesign Corporation and Cost Analyst for Simonds Industries, Inc.

Greg Chapdelaine has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Nichols College, as well as an M.B.A from the same school. Greg is also a Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official (MCPPO) from the Inspector General's Office of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
