Rebecca Hart

Rebecca Hart serves as a Planner for the City of Lexington since July 2023 and is the Founder and Board President of Lexington Pride. Previously, Rebecca held the position of Fellow at Lead for North Carolina at the UNC School of Government from July 2022 to June 2023 and completed a Public Relations Internship at the Cherokee Indian Hospital Authority. From June 2020 to May 2022, Rebecca was the Executive Director with Miracle at Western Carolina University and served as a Voting Member on the Board of Trustees and Student Body President in the Student Government Association at WCU during 2021. Additional experiences include a Communication Internship at HART Theatre and a Chief of Staff role with the UNC Association of Student Governments. Rebecca is a 2022 graduate of Western Carolina University, holding a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, a Bachelor of Science in Communication, and a minor in Leadership, and graduated from West Davidson High School in 2018.
