Matthew Garvey

Matthew Garvey is a firefighter with current experience at the City of Lincoln, CA, beginning in November 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew worked as a firefighter for the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) from 2019 to October 2022. In addition to firefighting, Matthew has served as an estimator at Maaco Collision Repair and Auto Painting since 2020. Previous positions include a bellman at Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa from May 2017 to January 2019 and an apprentice at Sandy Harris DBA Harris Construction Co. in 2013. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from California State University, Monterey Bay, and has attended Monterey Peninsula College and West Valley College.
