Alan Nakanishi

Alan Nakanishi has extensive experience in both public service and healthcare. Currently serving as a Council Member for the Lodi City Council since November 2010, Alan previously held the position of Assemblyman for California's 10th District from November 2002 to November 2008 and served on the Lodi City Council from November 1998 to November 2002, including a term as Mayor in 2001. In addition to their political career, Alan is an ophthalmologist and co-founder of Delta Eye Medical Group, a role maintained since 1971. Alan's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Pacific Union College, a Medical Doctor degree from Loma Linda University, and a Master's degree in Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
