Damian Nussbaum

Damian Nussbaum is currently serving as the Executive Director of Innovation and Growth at the City of London Corporation since May 2015. Previously, Nussbaum held the position of Director for Strategic Relationship Management at UK Trade and Investment from April 2011 to May 2015. From February 2008 to March 2011, Nussbaum was the Deputy Director for EU, International and Financial Services at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, also serving as Assistant Director of the Royal Mail Team within the Shareholder Executive. Nussbaum's earlier roles include First Secretary Enlargement and First Secretary for EU and Trade at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office from September 2004 to January 2008, as well as an Official at the Ministère des Affaires étrangères et du Développement international from September 2003 to August 2004. Nussbaum holds a degree from the University of Cambridge, which was completed in January 1998.
