Jessica McKay

Jessica McKay is a skilled Senior Speechwriter currently serving the Lord Mayor of London at the City of London Corporation since August 2022. Prior to this role, Jessica worked as a Speechwriter for the Business Secretary and BEIS Ministers at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy from February 2020 to July 2022. Jessica's career also includes positions as a Senior Press Officer and Press Officer at the Department for Exiting the European Union, as well as experience as a News Reporter with Law Business Research and The Scottish Daily Mail. Academically, Jessica holds a Master's degree in Newspaper Journalism from City, University of London and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Bristol.
