Aaliyah Hayes, MPA, currently serves as a Community Program Specialist III in Fund Development for the City of Long Beach, following a progression from Community Program Specialist II in the same department. Prior roles include Development Coordinator at After-School All-Stars, Los Angeles, and Development Specialist at Taller San Jose Hope Builders. Aaliyah's experience also includes a position as Resident Services Coordinator at Jamboree Housing Corporation and a Communications Intern role with Long Beach College Promise, where content creation and community outreach were key responsibilities. Aaliyah holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a focus on Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from California State University, Long Beach.
