Jayson Salazar is a seasoned professional in construction management and building inspection, currently serving as a Combination Building Inspector for the City of Long Beach since July 2017. Prior experience includes roles at The Golden Rain Foundation, where responsibilities spanned project management and inspections for multiple co-op corporations, and as a Responsible Managing Officer at Horizon Construction & Remodeling, where oversight of residential and commercial projects was paramount. Jayson also contributed to education as a Principal Instructor at Contractors Career Centers Inc., teaching various aspects of construction law and compliance. Previous positions include Director of Facilities & Transportation at Long Beach Rescue Mission, overseeing construction and operational affairs, and Senior Project Manager for COIT Restoration Services, focusing on emergency response work. Jayson holds a Master of Arts in Ancient Near Eastern and Biblical Languages from Fuller Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Harding University.
