Scott Korobkin, C.M., currently serves as the Superintendent of Airport Security for the City of Long Beach since January 2019, providing leadership and overseeing security operations as the primary Airport Security and Cybersecurity Coordinator. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Security Coordinator at the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey from March 2015 to December 2018, where responsibilities involved developing operational performance reports and managing security audits. From July 2011 to February 2015, Scott was the Airport Communications Specialist at Portland International Jetport, coordinating emergency response efforts and reporting on incidents and compliance. Earlier career experience includes serving as Assistant General Manager at SAMCO Inc. from June 2007 to July 2010. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management and Business Management from Daniel Webster College, as well as an MBA in Aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
