Karin Izumi

Karin Izumi, CSHO, ASH, is the current President of the Municipal Construction Inspectors Association. Prior to this role, Izumi worked as a SR. Fire Sprinkler Inspector at the City of Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety. With a background in fire safety, Izumi also held positions as a Fire Sprinkler Coordinator at Los Angeles World Airports and a Senior Fire Sprinkler Inspector at the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety. Izumi began their career as a Journeyman / Foreman at Fire Sprinkler Fitters Local 709.
