Hugo Soto-Martinez currently serves as a City Councilmember for Los Angeles City Council District 13, a position held since December 2022. Prior to this role, Hugo gained extensive experience as a Union Organizer at UNITE HERE Local 11 from July 2006 to September 2022 and worked as a Room Service Server at Marriott Hotels from July 1999 to July 2006. Hugo holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Criminology from UC Irvine, obtained in June 2006.
