Kip Ping

Kip Ping is the founder and President of Pinnacle Engineering, Inc., a firm that specializes in providing structural engineering services to architects, contractors, and owners since April 1996. In addition to entrepreneurial endeavors, Kip serves as a City Council Member for the City of Loveland, Ohio, starting in December 2021. Academic contributions include roles as a Visiting Instructor at Miami University from August 1996 to May 2006 and again from August 2011 to May 2017, teaching various structural engineering courses. Previous professional experience encompasses positions as a Design Engineer at Steven Schaefer Associates and Building Technologies Corporation, as well as serving as a Naval Architect at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Kip holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earned between 1985 and 1987.
