Caleb Cheng, AICP, currently serves as an Energy Facilities Siting Analyst for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where responsibilities include reviewing major energy facility sitings to ensure reliable energy supply with minimal environmental impact. As a Planning Board Member for the City of Lowell since February 2019, Caleb has administered the local Zoning Ordinance and overseen over 100 development projects. Previous experience includes a role as Regional Planner III at the Nashua Regional Planning Commission, where Caleb supported municipal planning efforts and contributed to various regional initiatives. At the University of Massachusetts Lowell, Caleb worked as a Campus Planner, conducting extensive planning studies and supporting major campus projects. Earlier roles included management at Chi Fan Group LLC and positions in urban planning at Cornell University and other organizations. Caleb holds a Master of Regional Planning from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning from the University of California, Davis.
