Dave Keene

Dave Keene has extensive experience in fire service and labor representation, currently serving as Assistant Fire Chief and a member of the Retirement Board for the City of Lowell since July 2014. Keene held multiple roles with the International Association of Firefighters from 2020 to November 2022, including District Field Service Representative, and served as a JLMC Labor Representative and Vice President of District 4 with the Professional Fire Fighters of Massachusetts from 2015 to 2022. With a solid foundation in the Lowell Fire Department from September 1996 to November 2022, Keene progressed to the role of Fire Lieutenant at Engine 2 and previously served as President of Lowell Firefighters Local 853 from June 2003 to December 2015. Keene is an alumnus of Lowell High School, graduating in 1985.
