Francesca Cigliano

Francesca Cigliano is a seasoned professional in urban planning with extensive experience in various roles, most notably as a Senior Planner at the City of Lowell since October 2019, following positions as Associate Planner and Assistant Planner. Prior to this role, Francesca served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, specializing in Sustainable Community Development, and held a Data and GIS Intern position at the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission. Additional experience includes internships at the Town of Ipswich, UMass Donahue Institute, and as an intern to the City Manager in Lowell. Francesca holds a Master's Degree in Regional Planning from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, along with a Bachelor's Degree from Copenhagen Business School.
