Ayonna Harris

Ayonna Harris has extensive experience in the juvenile justice and mental health fields, currently serving as a Complex Therapist for the City of Lynchburg since September 2021, providing therapy to youth in group home and detention settings. Previously, Ayonna worked as a CPP Therapist, delivering individual and group therapy for substance abuse to youth committed to the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice. Ayonna's career includes positions as a Clinician in Crisis Services at Horizon Behavioral Health, a Probation Supervisor, and a Probation Officer at the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice, as well as a Social Worker II with the County of Henrico. Ayonna began the professional journey as a Juvenile Probation Officer and Intensive Parole Officer with the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice in Richmond. Ayonna holds a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and a degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Juvenile Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University.
