Thomas R. is an experienced professional in broadcast and IT coordination, currently serving as the Broadcast and IT Coordinator for the City of Madeira Beach since February 2021. In this role, Thomas oversees the operation of security cameras and LED marquee signage while collaborating with vendors for City Hall projects. Previously, Thomas held multiple positions in the broadcasting industry, including Broadcast Technician and Help Desk roles responsible for directing government meetings across various platforms, and an Audio Visual Technician for Encore. Thomas's extensive career also includes significant roles at WTOG TV - CW44, where responsibilities included supervising broadcast master control operations, and earlier positions at various television stations, starting as a Production Assistant. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Arts and Media from Grand Valley State University and has a strong foundational education in creative writing and environmental science from Bloomfield Hills Lahser High School.
