David Schmiedicke

David Schmiedicke is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Finance Director for the City of Madison. Prior to this role, David held significant positions at the Wisconsin Department of Administration from April 2001 to July 2011, including Administrator and Deputy for the Division of Executive Budget and Finance, where responsibilities included leading the State Budget Office, State Controller's Office, and Capital Finance Office. In these capacities, David assisted the Governor and Secretary of Administration with the development and implementation of the state budget. David is an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
