William Tishler

William Tishler serves as Alderperson for District 11 in the City of Madison, WI, since June 2022. Tishler has been with the University of Wisconsin-Madison since February 2004, currently holding the position of Senior Instructional Media Producer within the Continuing Studies department. Additionally, Tishler is an Honorary Fellow at the Wisconsin Center for the Advancement of Postsecondary Education (WISCAPE). Previous roles at the University of Wisconsin-Madison include Media Specialist and Broadcast Specialist from June 1992 to December 1999. Tishler holds a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Dartmouth College and a Bachelor of Science in Art, Art History, and Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Early education was completed at Madison West High School.
