Claudia Hicks

Claudia Hicks currently serves as the Facilities Recreation Coordinator for the City of Mankato, where responsibilities include planning and supporting facility rentals, communicating recreational opportunities, and ensuring enjoyable park events. Previously, Claudia worked at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center as both the Event Sales & Services Coordinator, overseeing multiple simultaneous events, and as an Event Assistant, focusing on day-of event needs. Additional experience includes roles such as Building Manager at Lake Crystal Area Recreation Center, Special Events & Volunteer Coordinator for Champaign Park District, and Lifeguard Shift Manager at Urbana Park District. Claudia's foundational experience includes internships and positions at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Stephens Family YMCA. Claudia holds a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an Associate's Degree in Science from Parkland College.
