Ryan Schroeder possesses extensive experience in public safety and fire administration, currently serving as the Assistant Fire Chief for the City of Maplewood since April 2022. Previously, Ryan held the position of Assistant Fire Chief for the City of Golden Valley, MN, and served as Fire Chief for the City of Watertown from June 2009 to January 2022. Ryan’s background also includes roles as a Police Officer/Firefighter in the City of Woodbury and Fire Captain during tenure at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University. Maplewood, incorporated in 1957, is a city in Ramsey County, Minnesota, United States, is a first ring suburb with about 40,500 people in the Twin Cities metropolitan area, about 15 minutes from downtown Saint Paul.
