Alyson Hunter

Alyson Hunter, AICP, currently serves as the Planning Services Manager for the City of Marina, a position held since May 2022. Previously, Alyson held the role of Director of Community Development and Senior Planner at the City of Pacific Grove from July 2018 to August 2022, and worked as a Senior Planner for the City of Arcata from January 2012 to July 2018. Early career experience includes Associate Transportation Planner at the California Department of Transportation from December 2008 to December 2012, Senior Planner roles at LACO Associates and Humboldt County Community Development from 1997 to 2009. Alyson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography/Social Science from Humboldt State University and a Graduate Certificate in American Indian/Native American Studies from Montana State University-Bozeman.
