Alice Lam

Alice Lam is a seasoned professional in transportation and infrastructure engineering, currently serving as the Director of Operations for the City of Markham since June 2021. Prior experience includes directing third party project reviews at Metrolinx and holding various managerial roles within the City of Markham, focusing on roads operations and capital works engineering. Alice's background also encompasses significant experience with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation as a Senior Project Engineer, managing high complexity highway engineering projects. Earlier career roles include positions at McCormick Rankin Corporation and John Towle and Associates, where foundational skills in transportation planning and design were developed. Alice holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Transportation and Highway Engineering from the University of Toronto.
