Michael A. Brusseau

Michael A. Brusseau, AICP, currently serves as the Land Development Administrator for the City of Maryville Government since March 2020. Prior to this role, Michael worked as an Independent Contractor with Bunch Development Services from October 2018 to January 2020, focusing on planning, zoning consulting, and real estate research. Michael's extensive experience also includes a significant tenure as a Senior Planner at the Knoxville Knox County Metropolitan Planning Commission from September 2000 to September 2018, where responsibilities involved current planning in the Development Services division. Early career experience encompasses a position as Planner I with the City of Largo from September 1999 to September 2000, specializing in community development. Michael holds a Master of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Science in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Florida, as well as an Associate of Arts from Santa Fe Community College.
