Niki Freshour

Niki Freshour has worked as the Deputy Director of Financial Services at the City of Maryville Government since April 2022. Prior to this, they were the Assistant Business Manager at Lenoir City Schools from January 2013 to April 2022, where they were responsible for managing federal budgets, bank reconciliations, and fiscal aspects of grants. Niki also worked as a Controller at Design Tech Associates, Inc. from 1998 to January 2013.

Niki Freshour has a comprehensive education history spanning multiple institutions and fields of study. Niki began their educational journey in 1999 at Pellissippi State Community College, where they pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Computer Accounting, which they completed in 2001. Continuing to pursue their passion for accounting and finance, Niki then attended Tennessee Wesleyan University from 2001 to 2005, earning a Bachelor's degree in the same subject. With a solid foundation in finance, they further expanded their knowledge and skills by enrolling at Carson-Newman University from 2017 to 2019, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General. Niki's diverse educational background prepares their to excel in various business and accounting roles, showcasing their dedication to continuous learning and professional growth.
