Alex Wright (Zabel) is an experienced professional with a diverse background in economic development, marketing, and administrative roles. Currently serving as an Economic Development Officer for the City of Medicine Hat since January 2024, previous positions include Industry Support & Government Relations at the Medicine Hat and District Chamber of Commerce and President/Partner at SWAY Marketing Inc., focusing on connecting businesses with audiences. Alex has also held roles such as Policy Coordinator at the Okotoks and District Chamber of Commerce and has experience in personal concierge services, bookkeeping, and executive assistance across various companies. Alex earned a Bachelor's Degree in General Management from Mount Royal University and has additional studies from the University of Calgary.
