Lauren Thomas

Lauren Thomas is an accomplished professional in event coordination with extensive experience in municipal and educational settings. Currently serving as the Entertainment & Event Coordinator for the City of Medicine Hat since August 2023, Lauren previously held the role of Events Coordinator for the Town of Canmore from March 2020 to August 2023. Prior to that, Lauren worked at Keyano College, where responsibilities included serving as both Events Coordinator and Event Services Coordinator from July 2008 to February 2020. Lauren holds a Master of Arts in Arts Leadership & Arts Management from Queen's University, completed between 2021 and 2023, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Stage Management from the University of Alberta, obtained from 2002 to 2005.
