Merrick Brown is an experienced professional in health, safety, and emergency management with a diverse background in various roles. Currently serving as Director of HSE & Emergency Management for the City of Medicine Hat since April 2016, Merrick is responsible for developing and executing emergency response activities and maintaining the Municipal and Regional Emergency Management Plan. In addition, Merrick has been a Contract Lecturer at the University of Alberta since 2007, teaching courses in the Occupational Health & Safety Certificate Program.
