Syed Nehal Rizvi

Syed Nehal Rizvi is an accomplished cybersecurity professional currently serving as the OT Cybersecurity Coordinator for the City of Medicine Hat since November 2023. Prior to this role, Syed held the position of Senior Cyber Security Analyst at Squire Bpm in Toronto, ON, where responsibilities included monitoring security event logs and alerts from various technologies and conducting initial investigations of security incidents. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/3D Computer Animation from Sheridan College, along with certifications in AWS Cloud and CompTIA Security+, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from FEATI University in Manila, Philippines.
