Vanessa Barrera Mpa

Vanessa Barrera, MPA, currently serves as a Human Resources Analyst for the City of Menifee, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Vanessa worked as an Emergency Management Analyst for the same city from November 2019 to July 2023. Vanessa's career in emergency management began at the City of Temecula, where Vanessa was the Risk & Emergency Management Coordinator from April 2017 to November 2019. Vanessa holds a Master of Public Administration from San Diego State University, completed between 2018 and 2019, and a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Justice Studies from California State University San Marcos, obtained from 2016 to 2018.
