Eugene Drummond

Community Liaison at City of Merced

Eugene Drummond has extensive experience in community engagement and youth services, currently serving as a Community Liaison for the City of Merced Police Department since July 1999. In this role, Drummond collaborates with various community groups, coordinating programs such as the Neighborhood Watch, Citizen's Police Academy, and Operations Safe Streets. Previous roles include Recreation Supervisor for Youth Services at the Merced Police Department and Community Liaison positions with the City of Merced and The California Endowment. Drummond's background also includes mentoring for Boys and Men of Color and serving as Recreation Coordinator and Director in various other organizations. Drummond holds a degree in General Studies from San Diego State University and an Associate of Arts from Merced Community College District.
