Christena Barney is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience in benefits administration and general HR support. Currently serving as a Senior Human Resources Generalist for the City of Meridian since January 2014, Christena oversees the management of the City's benefit programs, acting as a liaison between vendors and employees. Prior to this role, Christena worked as an Administrative Technician at Boise Inc., where responsibilities included preparing financial statements and SEC filings. In addition, Christena gained valuable experience as an Administrative Technician in Benefits Administration for the City of Yuba City, supporting various HR functions, managing employee information, facilitating open enrollment, and ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations. Christena holds a diploma in General Education from Marysville High School.
