Jayson Andrus, MPA, CFO has a diverse work experience in public service and healthcare. Jayson began their career as a Firefighter/Paramedic at Mesquite Fire Rescue in 2007 and served in that role until 2018. In 2009, they joined Intermountain Healthcare as a Flight Paramedic and remained in that position until 2017. Currently, they are the Fire Chief at the City of Mesquite, Nevada, a role they started in 2018.

Jayson Andrus, MPA, CFO pursued their higher education starting in 2011 at Utah Valley University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Emergency Management.

Subsequently, in 2019, Jayson Andrus enrolled at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, and successfully completed their Master's program. Jayson graduated in 2021, acquiring a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree. The specific field of study during their MPA program was not provided.
