Ashley Howe

Ashley Howe has a diverse work experience in the field of recreation and arts management. Ashley is currently serving as the Arts & Recreation Director at the City of Mill Valley. Prior to this, they held the position of Parks & Recreation Director at the Town of Corte Madera from 2020 to 2023. From 2015 to 2020, they worked as a Senior Recreation Supervisor at the City of San Rafael. Ashley started their career as a Recreation Supervisor at the City of Benicia from 2007 to 2015. Ashley also served as the Member Services & Human Resources Director at the Tiburon Peninsula Club from 2002 to 2007.

Ashley Howe, MS, completed their Master of Science in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies from San Francisco State University from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, studying from 1998 to 2002.
