Principal Labor Relations Representative at City of Minneapolis

Bradford Courage has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Bradford currently holds the position of HR Principal Labor Relations Representative at the City of Minneapolis since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Labor Relations Associate from 2022 to 2023 in the same organization.

Before joining the City of Minneapolis, Bradford worked at the North Carolina Symphony from 2018 to 2022. Bradford served as the Director of Personnel from 2019 to 2022, providing strategic guidance and overseeing the implementation of orchestra activities. Bradford also worked as a Personnel Manager from 2018 to 2019, where they played a key role in contract negotiations and the implementation of labor agreements.

From 2015 to 2018, Bradford worked at the Omaha Symphony as an Orchestra Manager. Bradford ensured adherence to labor agreements, implemented process improvements, and managed database and information systems.

In 2015, Bradford briefly worked as a Production Manager at the National Repertory Orchestra.

Between 2008 and 2015, they were a Trombone player at the Pittsburgh Opera.

Bradford also worked as an Orchestra Manager at the Castleton Festival in 2014 and as a Stage Manager at the Grand Teton Music Festival in 2012.

Bradford Courage has a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in Music Performance, as well as History and Anthropology, from Carnegie Mellon University. Bradford also holds a Master of Music degree from the same institution.
