David M Rubedor has a diverse and extensive work experience. David M began their career at PRG Inc as a Project Coordinator, where they played a crucial role in developing affordable housing projects and raising funds for various initiatives. After four years, they transitioned to the Powderhorn Park Neighborhood Association as the Executive Director, where they oversaw a team and worked towards improving the neighborhood's racial and economic diversity. During their time there, they also played a key role in the development of a community-based economic initiative for the Latino community.
Rubedor then returned to PRG Inc as the Executive Director, where they focused on partnering with communities and cultural groups to address housing issues for low-to-moderate-income residents. David M successfully led a team and raised funds for the organization's operations. Under their leadership, the organization streamlined its operations and eliminated financial loss by selling its rental portfolio.
In 2008, they joined the City of Minneapolis as the Director of the Neighborhood and Community Relations Department, a role they created to consolidate the work of over 70 neighborhood associations. Rubedor's team works closely with grassroots organizations to elevate community programs and achieve social justice objectives. David M was later appointed to serve as the Assistant City Coordinator, where they continued to lead a team and develop a strategic framework for driving equity in government.
Throughout their career, Rubedor has demonstrated strong leadership skills, collaborative abilities, and a commitment to improving communities and addressing social issues.
David M Rubedor has a Master of Arts in Public Administration (MAPA) from Hamline University. David M also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Urban Studies and Regional Studies and Geography from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
