Emily Carr

Emily Carr currently serves as the CPED Supervisor for Residential Finance at the City of Minneapolis, a position held since September 2018, after progressing from Senior Project Coordinator in the same department. Prior experience includes various roles at the City of Brooklyn Park from August 2012 to September 2018, encompassing Development Project Coordinator and Economic Development Specialist. Emily began a career in urban planning and development as a Planning & Development Intern at the City of Brooklyn Park and later worked as a Research Assistant at the Center for Urban and Regional Affairs, alongside positions at the West Broadway Business and Area Coalition and the Greater Frogtown Community Development Corporation. Education includes a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science/Sociology, both from the University of Minnesota.
