Hassan Mahamud, JD. MBA, has a strong background in contract analysis and management. Hassan started their career as a Special Program Manager at Generation for Change and Growth (GCG) in 2008, where they excelled in managing programs and projects. In 2011, they transitioned to a Project Manager role at Sherman Associates, where they continued to demonstrate their expertise in project management.
In 2013, Hassan joined the State of Minnesota as a Senior Contract Analyst, focusing on contract analysis, negotiation, and compliance. Hassan was responsible for drafting and negotiating a variety of contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, and monitoring supplier performance.
In 2017, Hassan continued their contract analysis career at the City of Minneapolis as a Senior Contract Analyst. Hassan was responsible for drafting, redlining, and negotiating various contracts, including commercial, services, consulting, licensing, and technology-related agreements. Additionally, they monitored supplier performance against contractual terms and proactively applied their knowledge of emerging technologies and supply chain management to drive process improvements.
Throughout their career, Hassan has consistently demonstrated their strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex contracts and agreements.
Hassan Mahamud, JD, MBA, obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Hassan then pursued higher education at Mitchell Hamline School of Law from 2014 to 2017, earning a Doctor of Law - JD degree. During the same time, they also attended Hamline University, completing a Master of Business Administration - MBA and specializing in Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from 2015 to 2017.
