Heidi Dauer

Heidi Dauer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Heidi began their career in 1989 at Target, where they held multiple positions in Target Printing Services. During this time, they worked as a printing press operator, digital pre-press specialist, and forms management specialist. In 2005, they transitioned to the role of a Receipt Control Technician, where they worked closely with stores on the implementation of the automated direct store delivery system, identifying and addressing issues with minimum quantities. Heidi then progressed to become a Vendor Account Representative in the Consumables department, reconciling invoices and working with vendors to review disputes for deductions. In 2007, Heidi took on the role of a Vendor Account Representative in the Cash on Delivery team, where they reconciled vendor accounts and resolved account reconciliation items in a third-party auto-payment system. In 2011, they moved to the role of an Accounts Payable Specialist in the Freight Payment department, playing a significant role in the implementation of a new payment system and identifying and resolving issues with rates and carrier credits. Lastly, they joined the City of Minneapolis in 2015 and has held the positions of an Accounting Technician, Associate Contract Administrator, and Accountant.

From 2010 to 2011, Heidi Dauer attended North Hennepin Community College, where they pursued a General Accounting Certificate with a focus on Financial Accounting.
