Kali Pliego

Kali Pliego is an experienced professional with a diverse background in community service and organizational leadership. Currently serving as a Crime Prevention Specialist for the City of Minneapolis, Kali has previously contributed to American Families United as a board member, board President, and board Treasurer, advocating for changes in legal family immigration laws. As the Interpreter Services Coordinator at Park Nicollet Health Services, responsibilities included scheduling interpreters and managing communication with agencies. Kali also founded SE LUZ Ministries Incorporated, focusing on Positive Youth Development through engagement with Guatemalan youth. Educational achievements include a Master of Arts in Community Ministry Leadership from Bethel Seminary-St. Paul and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Augsburg University.
