Kelly Muellman

Manager, Environmental Programs at City of Minneapolis

Kelly Muellman has extensive experience in sustainability and environmental planning, currently serving as Manager of Environmental Programs and previously as Sustainability Program Coordinator for the City of Minneapolis since May 2015. Prior to this role, Kelly was a Minnesota Climate and Health Program Planner at the Minnesota Department of Health, focusing on Health Impact Assessments and resources for public health professionals to address climate change impacts from June 2011 to May 2015. Earlier experience includes positions as a Community GIS Research Assistant at the Center for Urban and Regional Affairs and as an intern with the City of Minneapolis Department of Community Planning & Economic Development. Kelly began a career in the energy sector as a Green Energy Associate at the Massachusetts Energy Consumers Alliance from March 2006 to July 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Urban & Regional Planning from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Environmental Studies from Northeastern University.
