Loren Olson

Senior Government Relations Representative at City of Minneapolis

Loren Olson has extensive experience in government relations, currently serving as Senior Government Relations Representative for the City of Minneapolis since March 2014, where responsibilities include representing the city's interests in collaboration with stakeholders. In addition, Loren is a member of the Noise Oversight Committee, advising the Metropolitan Airports Commission on airport noise and operations. Loren also contributes to the FAA NextGen Advisory Committee Subcommittee, providing recommendations on Air Traffic Management. Previous roles include Chair of the 5th Congressional District DFL, Policy Aide for the City of Minneapolis, Reference Attorney at Thomson Reuters Westlaw, and various positions in the office of U.S. Senator Paul Wellstone, focusing on constituent advocacy. Loren holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from St. Thomas University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science from the University of Minnesota.
